This is a dual format event over 2 days to develop players and grow lacrosse in the Pacific Northwest.

  • End of Season Jamboree
    • Jamboree format of mini games
    • U9, U11, U13 and U15 teams
  • Memorial Cup
    • Tournament format with pool play and single elimination playoff to crown champion
    • U15 and JV High School

Overview

Spectator Areas

All spectators are to be on opposite sidelines from the players’ bench area. Only team personnel allowed in the team bench and coaches area. No spectators allowed on end lines please, coaches are responsible to make this happen please

Uniforms

Where teams have the same color jerseys, the home team required to change jersey color to white, cooperation is appreciated

Inappropriate Behavior
Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated at WSLA Lacrosse events. Any player, coach or spectator that is involved in an altercation or inappropriate behavior will be immediately ejected from the game and the remainder of the event. If the ejected person refuses to leave the field of play or continues to cause a disturbance that prohibits the game/s from proceeding, EOS Jamboree staff reserves the right to eject that person from the facility.
The game officials reserve the right to end a game if the game cannot be safely controlled.

Equipment

Approved eye protection, colored mouth guard and approved lacrosse stick must be used at WSLA Lacrosse events. Goalies must wear approved protective equipment.

Stick Checks

We will forego stick check for this event on pool play games and jamboree games. Sticks are checked for all playoff games. Umpires may check a stick at their discretion at any time.

Referees

All games will be officiated by certified umpires. All umpires will be treated with the utmost respect at all WSLA Lacrosse events. We appreciate their participation in the End of the Season Jamboree and are unable to host such an event without their expertise and efforts.

Clean Up

Each coach must ensure that the bench area is picked-up after each game. Areas of team congregating must be cleaned up after teams depart for the day.

Alcohol and Tobacco Policy

All spectators, players, and coaches are expected to respect the WSLA policy to restrict the use of alcohol and tobacco products from being used/consumed on tournament premises. Any violators will be reported to the Tournament Directors and will be subject to expulsion from the tournament at the discretion of the Tournament Directors. The Tournament Directors thank all fans and participants for their cooperation as we model behavior for youth.

Parking

Saturday Parking will be a $5 fee

Sunday Parking will be a $3 fee

The parking lots are very busy. All drivers must be careful at this youth event when driving! Please try and bring exact amount as listed to hep attendants and get you parked ASAP

Dog Rules

No dogs allowed on the fields, leave all dogs at home for this event and never in your vehicle!!


End of Season Jamboree

Game Duration

Whenever possible, games will be played as schedule posted.

Each game is a twenty-five (25) minute running clock

-Central clock for all games

-No time outs during games, play will stop on injuries, yet the game clock is still running

-10 minutes between games, so teams must be prepared to start games when central horn starts games. Be mindful to depart fields and sidelines promptly to allow next teams to play.


Memorial Cup

Teams

Teams are comprised of only players from the program they are registered and played for in the current spring regular season. No players may be added to the roster from another program’s team to create a merged team for this event. Any games that have players from another program could be subject to forfeit.

U15: If a program has more than 1 team at U15, the program may create a roster from any players within their own program of players.

JV:    Roster to not include any starting Varsity players, swing players allowed. Any games that have players identified as Varsity the games are subject to forfeit.

Game Duration

Pool play format ~ Saturday (May require pool play Sunday TBD)

  • Whenever possible, games will be played as schedule posted.
  • Each game is 2 ~ twenty-five (25) minute running clock
  • Central clock for all games
  • No time outs during games, play will stop on injuries, yet the game clock is still running
  • No overtime in pool play, games can end in a tie
  • 10 minutes between games, so teams must be prepared to start games when central horn starts games. Be mindful to depart fields and sidelines promptly to allow next teams to play.

 

Playoff format ~ Sunday

  • Time will be kept at the table, 25-minute running clock, stopping on all whistles the last 2 minutes of each half
    • Halftime is 5 minutes
  • 2 timeouts allowed for playoff games, 1 per half not to be carried over
  • No ties in playoff games

Overtime format

  • No timeouts in overtime
  • 3-minute running clock for “sudden victory”, the 1st team to score will be winner
    • If no score after 3 minutes, teams swap ends and play begins w/ a draw with no time between sessions

Points accumulation format for Playoff Seeding

2 points for a win

1 point for a tie

0 points for a loss

Playoff seeding is based upon points, point tiebreakers are as follows in the order listed:

  1. Head to Head
  2. Goals Against
  3. Goals for
  4. Coin toss

Teams are randomly placed for pool play. In the event a team has an extra pool play game due to odd number of teams, that extra game points will not be counted towards seeding.
