Sports Injury Prevention
Hello Players, Parents, Coaches,
Injury prevention should be a part of everyone's conditioning routine. WSLA has been contacted by some sports medicine physical therapists and MD's in the area who will be providing us with useful information that we will post here periodically. Should you have any questions and/or need a Sports Medicine resource -- don't hesitate to contact the clinic in your area -- links are below.
The attached FLYER has important PEP exercise routines for ACL injury prevention! This is a helpful guidance for coaches, players and parents.
Also this link is to an article outlining, briefly, the benefits of doing PEP exercises and how it can significantly (70-80%) decrease rates of ACL tears in this young population;
