WSLA Mission Statement:
To coordinate and facilitate all activities related to girls lacrosse in Washington; to promote and facilitate a safe environment for girls to play lacrosse at the high school and youth level; to promote the growth of the sport; and to honor the game by instilling the values of scholastic achievement, sportsmanship, teamwork and individual development.
About WSLA:
WSLA is the governing body for girls high school lacrosse and girls youth lacrosse in the State of Washington. Consisting of girls high school lacrosse teams representing student-athletes attending WIAA-member schools throughout eastern and western Washington, in addition to school and club youth teams, the WSLA organizes, develops and promotes girls high school and youth lacrosse by facilitating a safe environment to play lacrosse, promoting the growth of the sport and honoring the game by instilling values of scholastic achievement, sportsmanship, teamwork and individual development among student-athletes, educators, coaches and families involved in the sport.
