All-Conference

Each year, WSLA recognizes outstanding players from each conference with All-Conference Awards. As discussed at the January league meeting, we’ve made some updates to improve/simplify the All-Conference Awards nomination and voting process this year. 

This year, coaches will nominate:

• 6 of your team’s players (2 Attack, 2 Midfield, 2 Defense)
• up to 4 standout field players from conference opponents
• up to 2 standout goalies from your conference 

Similar to past years, the board will process All-Conference nominations, then send out a Voting Form for coaches to submit their selections for their Conference’s All-Conference team.

SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATIONS HERE 

NOMINATIONS ARE DUE MONDAY, APRIL 28. 

If after April 28, coaches have NOT filled out the nomination form, there will be a tiered reminder process:

• Coaches will receive a reminder from their WSLA Board Conference Rep by 4/30
• If a coach hasn’t submitted the form by EOD 4/30, the Board will reach out to their club/school administration, letting them know the coach has not submitted any players for honors and has 48 hours to do so.
• If a coach still has not nominated any players, that coach will NOT be permitted to vote on All-Conference recognitions when the nomination grid is sent on 5/2. Players from their team that were nominated by other coaches in their conference will still be eligible to be voted on for All-Conference honors.

On May 2, we will send out the final Voting Form for each conference, with votes due May 7. All-Conference teams will be locked by May 12, and recognized at the State Championship Game.
